Meet Marie

Hi, I’m Marie Schrillo, founder of Schrillo Art Studio. With a degree in Fine Art, I discovered the beauty of calligraphy in 2006 and added it to my lifelong passion for artistic expression. By 2008, I began teaching—and found my greatest joy in guiding others to unlock their own creative potential. Beyond the studio, I’m inspired by Idaho’s natural beauty, my family, running with my dogs, and my involvement with the Idaho Inkspots Calligraphy Guild. Teaching, creating, and sharing art remain at the heart of everything I do.

At Schrillo Art Studio, we believe art is for everyone—not just the “naturally gifted.” With the right foundation in art theory and technique, anyone can learn to draw beautifully and with confidence. Our philosophy is simple: once you understand the rules of art, you gain the freedom to create your own masterpieces.
