Meet Marie

Thank you for your interest in my Art Studio. I founded Schrillo Art Studio with the hope of bringing classical Art Instruction and Artistic Creation to Eagle Idaho. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and then attended Otis Parsons School of Design. Later, I discovered the amazing Art of Calligraphy, which became another love of mine and continued to acquire skill and knowledge through classes and project experience.

I love to share my passion for Art and and hope to bring joy to students of all ages. I truly believe that establishing a classical, solid Art foundation, not only in Art medium usage, but also in Art theory is of ultimate importance for Art students as they go forth in their Art and Calligraphy education and journey.

The power and beauty that Artwork, as well as the written word,is of great importance to me as a teacher. I educate, the “Old School” way… not computer or A I generated, but hands on. It is amazing how important and beneficial to all of us that hand to eye coordination and physical production is!

It is my vision to create Art as well as Calligraphy that touches the human soul, brings emotion to the viewer, and expresses the boundless joy that only Artwork can convey. I am inspired by nature, family, and community, and believe Art is for everyone. I love guiding others to bring their artistic visions to life, and embrace Human creativity to the highest level.
